spoiler Alert – check out the best rustic coffee table here!
I’ll do my best to compare the styles, pros and cons. I’ll also describe what makes each one unique and conclude this blog with my personal recommendation. Anyways without any further delay let’s get this comparison/review going starting with.
This rustic table features a beautiful reclaimed wood coffee table surface that is finished so maintaining this table clean is easy. It sits 18 inches high which is a perfect height for a traditional coffee table. Its dimensions are 24 x 48 x 18 in just all around one of the simplest, nicest tables offered. The table has a metal frame and again being a rustic table it has that distressed finish which adds “character” to the table. The table isn’t heavy and the assembly was a breeze and took me no more than 30 minutes by myself. The bottom shelf also comes in handy to set your books or magazines in. Extremely simple yet effective rustic coffee table. Often times the simplest things are the best things.
Moving on we have the…
This particular table lasted me many years and was such a great piece in my living room. The rich dark brown finish brings a certain warmth to the room that makes you feel right at home. This tables dimensions come in at 28.1 x 42 x 17.9 in which makes it great if you’ve more passage way space. Unlike the previous reclaimed wood coffee table this one sports an all wood frame and quite a bit of storage space between that slat style-bottom shelf and the tabletop. Once again it has that rustic look to it but is darker in color so I’ll leave this up to you to decide as this varies from person to person. As I mentioned I used this table for quite some time and never had any issues. The only “con” I can think of was that it was a heavy table but assembly was pretty easy.
This was a pretty cool table I had when I moved into my new home a few years ago. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to enjoy it for long because I ended up moving once again due to work. What I can tell you is that it was definitely a fitting retro piece and that slat bottom shelf really pops out with its perpendicular design. This piece has a much cleaner look and again features a rich dark color that can “even out” ambient light. This table sits a little low with the dimensions at 23.2 x 47.2 x 16.5 in. It’s an excellent piece for those with sofa seats that are about 19 inches’ high. This table is perhaps best suited for a country type of home but with some “tinkering” I think one could make it work. It’s also important to note that it’s not real wood and instead pressed board. Plenty of storage space and a great choice overall.
A tall, narrow, solid piece with a small storage drawer! Note that the finish on the table above is called “rustic gray” but it also comes in a mahogany finish. Let me tell you this is one neat and sturdy table. The center piece for my apartment many years ago. Plenty of space between the bottom shelf and the tabletop and it also features a small storage drawer for your remote or other items. As I mentioned earlier this is a narrow table with the dimensions coming in at 22 x 43.9 x 20.1 in. It’s also pretty tall at 20.1 in so this you may need to do some assessing of your surrounding furniture to see if this will work. This is a heavy piece weighing over 70 pounds so be sure to have someone help you carry it into your home.
This one really grows on you and your guests are sure to give you great compliments. At first I thought this reclaimed wood coffee table seemed a bit odd with the wheels as legs. Don’t be fooled by its look though as it was one of the most solid and nifty little tables I ever had the pleasure of owning. It’s got a great country look and that perfect rustic look which appears “weathered”. Metal and wood construction with dimensions of 31 x 47 x 16.5 in. It’s a bit lower than a traditional coffee table but still worked out great for what I needed. You really can’t go wrong with this one either. It’s a heavy table but assembly was a breeze. No worries about moving it around because the wheels do actually move.
Final thoughts on a reclaimed wood coffee table.
